Why Trust Us
When it comes to your health and the meals that support it trust matters. That’s why every recipe, tip, and kitchen ritual shared on Golden Era Recipes comes from a place of lived experience, family wisdom, and a deep love for food that truly nourishes.
This isn’t a trend-following blog. It’s a legacy passed down through generations and now shared by me, my grandmother Dalida, and my aunt Linda.
Experience You Can Taste
Hi, I’m Olivia Marino, a school assistant from Nashville with over 11 years of hands-on kitchen experience. My real education happened in the warm, fragrant kitchen of my grandmother, Dalida, who taught me that food was more than just fuel it was care, comfort, and healing.
My late mother, Julia, was a physician assistant for 17 years. Before she passed in 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer, she instilled in me the value of natural wellness, bio-friendly foods, and preventive health through what we eat. Julia believed in research and roots and that belief lives on in every recipe I share.
And I’m not sharing this journey alone. Dalida still contributes her heritage kitchen wisdom, and my aunt Linda brings her gift for comforting, seasonal baking keeping our family’s dessert traditions alive with every pie, cobbler, and crisp.
Expertise Passed Down Through Generations
I’m not a registered dietitian, but I’m a lifelong learner in the kitchen. My approach blends Dalida’s herbal wisdom, my mother’s clinical insights, Linda’s heritage baking, and my own daily discoveries as a busy modern woman seeking better mornings and balanced meals.
Every recipe is tested in our home kitchens and often inspired by what truly helped our family feel better, sleep deeper, or celebrate together.

What This Means for You
When you make a smoothie, bake a crisp, or try one of our soups, you’re not just following a recipe you’re stepping into a story that began in my grandmother’s kitchen, was deepened by my mother’s devotion to health, is sweetened by Linda’s baking, and now continues in your home.
We believe that trust is earned one cup of tea, one comforting breakfast, and one shared dessert at a time.
With warmth from our family kitchen to yours,
– Olivia, Dalida & Linda 💛
